How long does a bespoke build take?

A first phase is usually 8 to 12 weeks and a full build 3 to 5 months. What actually sets the timeline is decisions rather than code, because projects slow down when nobody on the client side can settle how a process should work.

Do you work with businesses outside tech?

Most of our clients are not tech companies. Construction, healthcare, estates, manufacturing and hospitality: businesses with a process worth automating rather than a software team of their own.

What if we already have software that half works?

That is a common starting point, and replacing it is not always the answer. Sometimes the fix is joining up what you already have. Discovery is where that gets decided, before anyone commits to a build.

Bespoke earns its keep when the process you run is the thing that makes you money and no product on the market matches it. In practice that means you are rekeying data between systems, running the business on spreadsheets only one person fully understands, or paying for five tools that each do a fifth of the job. Discovery first. A short, structured look at how work actually flows through your business before anyone writes code, so the build is scoped against what happens rather than what the brief assumed. It is how we start every build, it takes two weeks, and there is no upfront cost.

You own the code and the IP outright, with a documented handover, so you are never stuck with us.

What it costs

Bespoke software projects run from £15,000 to £100,000 excluding VAT, and we do not take on projects under £10,000. Where yours sits depends on integrations with what you already run, whether it needs to work offline, compliance requirements, and how many types of user need their own view.
