When bespoke is right for you, and when it isn't
Bespoke earns its keep when the process you run is the thing that makes you money and no product on the market matches it. In practice that means you are rekeying data between systems, running the business on spreadsheets only one person fully understands, or paying for five tools that each do a fifth of the job. One client came to us with an invoicing cycle that took six weeks of admin. The system we built runs it in six hours.
How we work
Discovery first. A short, structured look at how work actually flows through your business before anyone writes code, so the build is scoped against what happens rather than what the brief assumed. It is how we start every build, it takes two weeks, and there is no upfront cost.
You own the code and the IP outright, with a documented handover, so you are never stuck with us.
What it costs
Bespoke software projects run from £15,000 to £100,000 excluding VAT, and we do not take on projects under £10,000. Where yours sits depends on integrations with what you already run, whether it needs to work offline, compliance requirements, and how many types of user need their own view. The work
PatientGo, the clinical trials platform we built with Illingworth Research Group, scaled from hundreds of patients to tens of thousands and won a MedTech Breakthrough Award in 2026. Paycada put invoice collections in the hands of SMEs. Classeq connects to commercial dishwashers for troubleshooting and servicing, cutting service time by around 60% per unit.
